All Northern League JV

Congratulations to Sophomore’s Diana Flores and Marycruz Gonzalez for being selected Northern League Junior Varsity Co Players Of The Year. Joining them on the First Team All Northern League were Juniors Jackie Buena and Ashley Gabaldon, as well as Sophomore Sommer Flores.  

All girls interest in trying out for Basketball for the 2012-13 season there will be a important meeting on Friday April 27 at lunch in the big Gym.

The Eagles were victorious in their quarter final game with Jordan on Tuesday. The final score was 50 – 44 after thirty-two hard fought minutes of play. It was a very intense evening of basketball. Your Eagles play Friday night at RFK High School in the semi finals against Monroe. Game time is 6:00 PM please come out to support the team.

The Varsity erupted for a 22-point win in their first playoff game against Dorsey. The Eagles came out on fire exploding to a 29 - 5 lead at the end of one quarter. The game was marked with tenacious defense by the Eagles, which lead to many easy scoring opportunities. The Varsity plays Tues. at Jordan. Please come out to support the team.

The girls' Varsity team completed their regular season with a 23 and 3 record. They championed the Northern League with a 12 - 0 record. The first playoff game is Thursday, February 16th vs. Dorsey 7:00 pm at home. Please come out and support the team.

The annual Girls' Basketball Alumni Game will be Tuesday Nov 22. The games' starting times are:

 1:00 pm  Freshman vs. Sophomore 

3:30 pm  Junior Varsity vs. Faculty

6:00 pm  Varsity vs. Alumni
