Mr. Lord's Home Page

Mr. Lord has been teaching science at Eagle Rock High since 1985. In addition to AP Biology he teaches 9th grade Honors Biology, 11-12th grade Honors Physiology and 11-12th grade Zoology. He is also head coach for the Varsity Boys' Basketball team and Chair of the Science Department. Mr. Lord graduated from Occidental College in 1983 with a major in Biology and a minor in Studio Art. He earned a Master of Arts in Mammalian Physiology from Occidental in 1991 and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from U.C.L.A. in 2004. In June 2011 Mr. Lord received the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program Teacher Recognition Award from Scholar Alejandro Jimenez-Jaramillo. Mr. Lord's hobbies include woodworking, photography, mountain biking and restoring his 1930 Model A Coupe.
